Analyzed competitor apps and conducted user journey mapping. Found that perceived wait time was more important than actual wait time. Users wanted to feel in control.
The Solution
Designed a new tracking experience with live map updates, driver communication, and proactive delay notifications. Added order customization confirmations and photo verification of deliveries.
